Mending and Embroidery Meet Up
We’re thrilled to bring the Mending and Embroidery Meetup to our community and we’re excited to introduce Rachel, our skill coach for this event. Rachel is a passionate educator, housing rights defender, and mental health advocate, dedicated to enhancing the livelihood of her neighbors and community. Recently, she’s found sewing, mending, and embroidery to be a balm for these stressful times, as well as a way to reduce overconsumption and give new life to well-worn clothing. The Mending and Embroidery Meetup at Good Neighbor invites community members of all skill levels to explore the creative possibilities of hand sewing and up cycling socks, jeans, tees, and all things hole-y!
